The Sinister Legacy of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde (A role playing mystery for youth)

What is a Role-Playing Mystery Weekend?
Good news: you don’t have to be a great actor. Role-playing mysteries allow
you the fun of adopting a character for the weekend! You’ll join other suspects
in a “real time” mystery. After being provided with a background, personality,
and some clues, it’s up to you to act as your character while avoiding suspicion
and danger, solving a mystery, and discovering the sinister secret of Dr. Jekyll
and Mr. Hyde!

A Sequel Story to the Classic Novella
Henry Jekyll is dead, but his legacy lives on! After several of the doctor’s
patients are quarantined to an island, one dies under rather suspicious
circumstances. Has the sinister Edward Hyde somehow managed to survive?
Who can be trusted? Will you be the next victim?

Scriptural Focus
During our investigation, we’ll take a look at Genesis chapters 1-3. Like Dr.
Jekyll in the original story, we’ll puzzle out the mystery of evil, original sin, and
temptation. In our playing, singing, praying, and gathering, we’ll come to a
better understanding of what God’s Word has to say about sinister legacies...
