Decorated in the blazing hues of autumn, the Island is at its most strikingly beautiful in the fall. The variety of birds passing through on their way south is amazing; the fawns are nearly as big as the doe; and the crispness in the air is refreshing.
Fall Retreats and Events
As creation begins its colorful change, the program offerings at Lutheran Island Camp and Retreat Center shift more to weekends--though we also have events during the week. To register for any of the events click on the "Retreat Registration" link on the left.
Check out some of our scheduled events for Youth, Adults, Families, College age and older (Expedition) or one of our special events or workshops and training events.
Whether a planning retreat for the board of elders/church council or a retreat for families from your congregation, we’d love to have you enjoy a weekend with us on the Island. Senior Day on the Island
Join us for Bible study, lunch, and a ride on our pontoon boat and /or a ride on a wagon drawn by one of our teams of horses—all while enjoying the tranquility of autumn on the Island and fellowship with other older adults. Consider brining your LWML, seniors group, LLL, couples club, or other group from your congregation.
Cost: $10 per person (retired church workers at no charge)

Fall Clean-Up Weekend
Always the first weekend in October
Join other friends of Lutheran Island Camp as we “bundle up” the Island for the coming winter activities and events!
Cost: No charge, not even for Friday night lodging!
Dates: Friday evening, Oct. 3rd-Saturday 4th
