Quilt Auction 2008
The date has been set for the 17th Annual Quilt Auction. It will be held on Saturday, August 2, 2008. We certainly appreciate quilts and other crafts that are given to the camp. If you would like help in asking for Thrivent matching funds, please contact us early in 2008 so that your quilts will qualify. We are ready to begin accepting quilts, woodwork projects, fancy needle work and other craft items at any time.
Please use a label when sending your quilt. You can request one from Lutheran Island Camp by calling 218-583-2905 or you can download one by clicking here.
Recently we sent out a letter to past groups that supported our quilt auction. If you would like to download a copy of it, please click here.
This year we plan to offer bidding on-line for some of the quilts.

Quilt Auction 2008
Please mark your calendars for the 17th annual Lutheran Island Camp Quilt Auction on Saturday, August 2nd, 2008. We welcome you to join us for the following:
- Live auctioning of an anticipated 200+ beautiful quilts created and donated by individuals and quilting groups from Minnesota and the surrounding area.
- Several other handmade items.
- Silent auction.
- Open house activities, including tours and games.
- Devotional time with singing prior to the auction.
- Ice cream and fellowship following the auction.
- Seeing the beautiful renovations at the camp, including new log siding on the chapel, patios on many of the cabins, a new horse-drawn wagon, and some of our horses.
- Check our website for photos of some of the quilts and information on on-line bidding.
