Youth receive training in communication, planning, problem solving and group dynamics. The intent of the program is to train youth in community service and youth ministry. There are several training events scheduled in 2010 and 2011. Weekend long training events can be scheduled for individual youth groups. Funding for this training program has been provided by the generous donors of Lutheran Island Camp.

Under All That We Do

Under All that we do

Under All That We Do is a stewardship progam that provides people with the opportunity to discover how they can increase their income, reduce taxes, and provide a long-lasting legacy to their congregation or other charitable organization. Funding for this program has been provided by Thrivent Financial for Lutherans.

Congregation and organization strategic planning

Lutheran Island Camp and Retreat Center provides an excellent opportunity for congregations, parochial schools, and organizations to develop strategic plans. The process includes an initial onsite visit followed by a 2-3 day retreat at camp. The second onsite visit is then scheduled to fine-tune the plan developed at camp. The final strategic plan is then presented. The cost depends on the size of the congregation and the needs of the organization.
