There is nothing like being at Splash Camp on a hot summer day! We offer campers lots of summer water fun, including plenty of time at the beach, a giant slippery slide, kayaking, canoeing, water volleyball and basketball, singing around the campfire and great evening activities. Each week will feature a luau at the beach.

This is the way camp has been for three generations and we've set aside some of the best weeks of the summer for them. It is based on kids having lots of fun doing many different activities. The list of things to do includes: archery, basketball, softball, disc golf, swimming, boating, fishing, kayaking, canoeing, hiking, volleyball, and more. Classic Camps include a great Bible Study, sing-a-longs, devotions, cookouts, skit night, canteen, and crafts. Horseback riding will be an option available for campers. The Biggest is a special celebration with big events, big activities, and big treats.

During our Trailblazer Sports Camp, youth will have the opportunity to try out a number of sport activities that they may not have done before. Included will be fishing, golf, archery, horseback riding, Disc golf, floor hockey, shooting sports, water polo, geo caching, and more.
Dates and Costs: July 17-22, $325.
This 5-day event is for youth who want to do some fishing, but also want to have the fun of camp. We provide a rod, reel, and some tackle for you to take home. We'll use our boats and pontoon to fish East Battle Lake, one of the premier lakes in the state. There will be shore fishing, trolling, still fishing, and night fishing (not too late).

Moms and Dads, Grandparents and other relatives are invited to join their favorite 8-11 year old for a week of fishing on one of the premier lakes in the state of Minnesota. You’ll be staying in our Retreat Center, enjoy great meals and shore lunches, have at least one fish fry, and go home with lots of great memories and photos of your week together.
Dates and Cost: June 19-24. Cost is $450 for one parent and 1 child. Additional parents are $180 and additional children are $250.
Grab some friends and head to the ranch to do the things that boys love to do. We’ll build a fort, make a fire or two, cook hot dogs and s’mores, catch some fish, and have some discussions about what it is to be a young man. Campers will be sleeping in tipi tents. Check our website for fact sheet.

God has given many of our families the gift of one or more daughters. This weekend program will provide young ladies with the opportunity to learn about important women in the Bible, to share their faith as little women and future mothers, and to begin to understand the gifts and talents that God has given them through a spiritual gifts survey. Each child will be given a guide that they can take home and use with their parents.

Trailblazer Dinosaur Week (7-11)
We will be having our first Trailblazer (7-11) Dinosaur Camp this year. Campers will spend time talking about God’s creation, the dinosaur. Campers will receive some of the latest information about dinosaurs. We’ll do some digging, learn about fossils, put skeletons together, and see if the Bible talks about dinosaurs. It should be a great week.
“BANG!” “Whoosh!” “Wow!” Science can be exciting at Lutheran Island Camp. Our Young Scientist Program uses science to better understand God’s creation and the universe that surrounds us. Brian Young teaches God’s word while helping participants see how the truth of science supports the facts of creation. Many activities will be done at the Creation-Science Environmental Learning Center at Christ Serve Ranch. Limit of 30 campers.
Ages:Trailblazer (10-11), Voyageur (12-14), Teen Trek (14-15)
Dates: June 5-10
It will be an adventure in Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math as campers engage in challenging and creative hands on experiences at Christ Serve Ranch. Campers will participate in Mad Science Labs, Outdoor Exploration, Design Centers, and Art adventures as we take a unique look at the days of creation. Campers should come prepared for activities including horseback riding, fishing, hiking, and more. All equipment will be provided.

Campers will go back to the 19th century and share experiences similar to those from Little House on the Prairie and Little House in the Big Woods. We’ll use a Dutch oven, learn about foods, experience games that were played back then, learn about faith and its importance, see how families earned their living, and experience many of the activities of children from the late 1800’s. Please note that a more detailed description will be provided to campers when they sign up. There is a limit of 24 campers.

Dates and Cost: June 19-24. $295
This event is for our younger campers who want to be a horseback rider but aren’t yet ready to participate in a weeklong event. Participants will spend time getting to know their horse and learn the basics of horsemanship including grooming, groundwork, respect, and riding. We’ll use some of our smaller and wiser horses. Most of our time will be spent in an arena. Campers may stay at Christ Serve Ranch.
Ages: Trailblazer (7-11)
This is one of the best experiences that you can have at camp! Learn how to ride, groom, and feed a horse. By the end of the week, you'll be able to saddle your own horse; take it out on a nice trail ride, and perhaps do a few games on horseback. You'll wish the week would never end!
